Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Digital Design
In addition to building your communication and critical thinking skills through core courses in the B.A. program, you will declare a career track of your preference to specialize in either Graphic Design, Game Art & Animation, or Interactive Design. With a diverse array of courses ranging from corporate identity and environmental design to character modeling to user experience design and social media, the B.A. allows for the most courses and electives during your time at Tulane SoPA. This degree program will allow thorough portfolio development and the greatest flexibility if you wish to take courses in other tracks.
Tulane SoPA offers Post-Baccalaureate Certificates to students who have already earned a bachelor's degree in a related academic discipline. You will complete 10 courses, or 30 total credit hours, in the career track of your choice with an emphasis on studio time to define and enhance your portfolio of work. For those who have a completed their degree in an unrelated field, they may complete up to four additional courses to meet the requirements.
Digital Design Minor
Adding a minor in Digital Design to your degree plan allows you to complete 6 courses, or 18 total credit hours, in the track of your choice. This is a great option to gain additional experience in the interactive design sector to complement your major.
