What advice would you give to someone who's considering finishing their degree, or starting for the first time as an adult?

Lose your fear. Show up and be ready to enjoy learning again. Ask questions! Make comments. Know that you each have just as much to offer in class as everyone else. Ask for help if and when you need it. See your advisor. Taking some classes out of your comfort zone can lead to unexpected discoveries and sometimes new career paths. See each assignment as an opportunity to excel! Always attend class. Always attend other events if you can. Explore the Library. Visit the archives. Go see sports events. Attend Homecoming and Crawfest. Attend other events on campus.

What is the first career you dreamed of as a child?

Fighter pilot.

What is the best advice you've ever received?

Be a lifelong learner. Try to learn something new every day.
