Looking for affordable seminars to expand your training in various design-related topics? Look no further! Tulane School of Professional Advancement offers one-day summer Bootcamps to fit your budget and schedule. **Each Bootcamp is limited to 16 spots. Interested parties should reserve their seat during the pre-booking period. See complete dates and timeline below.

SQUARESPACE 101: BUILD YOUR WEBSITE IN 1 DAY!

Date & Time: Friday, July 6th | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Overview: Spend the day learning the Squarespace website building platform and build out your own website as you follow along with our expert Tulane SoPA faculty! Once registered for this course, you will be prompted to collect various assets needed to assist you in building your site. By the end of the day, your site will be uploaded and clickable! We even take you through the process of purchasing your own domain! This course is limited to 16.

Social media 101: Set Up & Gear Up Your Social Media in 1 Day!

Overview: Need a professional social media presence? Not really sure where and how to get started? This one-day course will help you uncover and navigate Facebook, Instagram, e-mail marketing and other social interfaces for your business or personal persona. Cross-platform integration, scheduling and marketing will also be discussed. Once registered for this course, you will be prompted to collect various assets needed to assist you in building your social media presence. This course is limited to 16.

  1. Can I bring my own computer? Yes! You may bring your own laptop IF it has the appropriate software loaded. If you would like to bring your own laptop, please notate that in the form above. Our faculty will reach out to you ahead of time to confirm your computer will be capable and all set to yield the best result for your bootcamp experience. PLEASE do not forget your power cord, mouse or any other peripheral you may need.

  2. Where are the bootcamps located? Our bootcamps are located at our Tulane Elmwood campus at 800 E. Commerce Blvd. The bootcamps are in one of our design labs fully equipped with the latest technology and hardware. There is plenty of parking available for all our bootcamps guests.

  3. What else should I bring to the bootcamp? Our building is equipped with snack machines, coffee and soda machines. If you are bringing your laptop, PLEASE do not forget your power cord, mouse or any other peripheral you may need. You will be prompted to bring images and text for various bootcamp topics if necessary. A faculty member will reach out to you with examples and a detailed list of items to bring to your specific bootcamp...so check your email!

  4. When and how do I pay? Our registration begins as pre-booking to insure adequate attendance prior to our online payment portal. You can expect full payment to be due within 30 days of your pre-booking.  Payment may be made by check or online. See further instructions via email once the online payment portal is open. You will be notified via email.

  5. What if the course fills before I can pre-book? No worries! We will add you to our waitlist. If we get at least 12 additional waitlisted attendees, we will open a second bootcamp date.

  6. My company is paying and I need an invoice! No problem. We can generate this for you. Please let us know that in the 'comments' field in the form above.

  7. I have dietary restrictions! No problem, before lunches are ordered, you will be asked for any dietary restriction that may exist :) 

  8. May I go off site for lunch? We recommend you stay within the space for lunch. We have a very large conference table within our lab perfect for lunch. Typically, important discussions break out during lunch and we end up answering important questions during this time. We recommend you stick around!

  9. Is there a discount if I register for all 3 workshops? I'm glad you asked! Yes, if you register for all 3, you will receive a $50 per course discount. Please check that box in the form above.

  10. What time should I arrive? We ask that you arrive between 8:00 am - 8:20 am. We will begin exactly at 8:30 am. Please do not be late as you will miss information!
